LIGHTS THEY BLIND ME.

How many different hues and shadows does the bright light of sun reflect upon us from the early dawn when the first ray of sun warms our frozen hearts till that last glimpse of light which always manages inexplicably to comfort us for the rest of the night’s darkness? How many different shapes, highlights and visual illusions can that light manipulate? Each object and everything not shattered to the ground shapes new visuals and illustrations while meeting light rays. The visual cohesion created seems to form a game of control between light and darkness; a natural black and white kaleidoscope. And somewhere in this confusing illustration we are standing alone, trying to give reasons and excuses to ourselves for our existence; oscillating somewhere between these two shades and their few hues. Is a bright direction always a better choice than a dark one? The majority will probably state that light is always preferable and most appealing and on the contrary dark is always unpredictable and seems threatening. However, sometimes brightness can be stressful, deceiving and blur critical thinking while shadows can offer freely and unconditionally comfort or even sometimes a necessary cloudiness. Many will think if all these ideas are relevant to us. It is a distinctive characteristic of our age the fact that everyone is so terrified by the idea of staying in the shadows that just seek light even though it won’t do any good to them. It’s essential to find piece among the shadows too; where shadows unity. After all, sometimes it’s dark despite the light.
